The York Regional Police have recently announced the arrest of 15 drivers for impaired driving in less than 72 hours. The arrests occurred over the weekend between Friday, July 8, 2016, through Sunday July 10, 2016. Among the 15 arrested, were three that were involved in motor vehicle collisions.
We hope that the continued police enforcement will resonate with drivers. According to police, impaired driving continues to be the number one criminal cause of death in Canada. Please do Not drink and drive.
