Teresa Park is a litigation lawyer at Iacobelli Law Firm, practicing in personal injury law and employment & labour law. She is dedicated to advocating for individuals who have suffered serious injuries and those facing workplace injustices, ensuring they receive the legal representation they deserve. Teresa obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science from York University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She was awarded the Gina Feldberg Prize and the Ellen Baar Award for earning the highest GPA in her department and major. During law school, Teresa was actively involved in legal advocacy and community initiatives, serving as Executive Chair of Pro Bono Students Canada (Osgoode Chapter) and participating in advocacy competitions. She also worked as a law student caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services, where she represented clients in social assistance and employment-related matters. Before joining Iacobelli Law Firm, Teresa practiced at a well-known insurance defence boutique, where she gained extensive litigation experience handling personal injury and insurance matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, and complex liability disputes. Her background in insurance defence provides her with a strategic advantage when advocating for injured individuals, as she understands how insurers assess, defend, and evaluate claims. This insight allows her to anticipate challenges, build stronger cases, and negotiate effectively to maximize compensation for her clients. She later focused her practice on employment law, representing clients in wrongful dismissal claims, workplace harassment cases, and human rights matters. She has successfully advocated for clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and administrative tribunals, handling mediations, hearings, discoveries, and negotiations. As a Korean speaker, Teresa is passionate about serving the Korean-Canadian community, ensuring that language is never a barrier to justice. She provides legal services in both English and Korean and is committed to guiding clients through complex legal matters with a strategic and compassionate approach. Teresa is licensed to practice law in Ontario and offers legal services to clients throughout Ontario. In her spare time, Teresa enjoys hitting the gym, training at Barry's Bootcamp, and traveling the world. |
